About Dave

Dave Procter is your Left Independent Green Candidate for the Leeds Central Parliamentary Constituency.

My name is Dave Procter and I have been a resident of Leeds for 22 years. I came over to Leeds to study having grown up in a mining village between Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe. I work in the Higher Education sector as a Senior Lecturer in Music Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University. I am a member of Amnesty International, Stop The War Coalition and the University and Colleges’ Union.

I have decided to stand in the General Election for a number of reasons –

I hope the policies that I discuss provoke some debate and give the constituents of Leeds Central something to vote for, as opposed to voting against, or worse still, not at all.

You can read more of my thoughts and see links to interesting discussion articles on the Latest News pages. You can see me out and about in the constituency on the Photos page.
